From Terry Moore:
Okay, for you true blue loyal friends of Katchoo and the gang, here is the latest news leak straight from the studio.
Issue #66 was turned into the printer today and is scheduled to ship in two weeks on June 9.
This issue is the final of three in a row concentrating on Katchoo's paintings and the start of her art career. This issue is much more diverse in imagery though. There's even a three page look at a story Katchoo wrote and illustrated at the age of seventeen while living on the streets of L.A.
We see how Katchoo and Emma met and what actor Kevin Spacey had to do with it.
And we see an EXTREMELY REVEALING self-portrait of Katchoo that will show you, finally, her OTHER tattoo (everybody knows she has two, right? ? and no, the other one is not on her bottom) If you're on heart medication, do not read this issue without doctor supervision.
And last but not least, we find out what's happened to Casey (have you noticed there's been no sign of her since the wedding issue?
Lot's of stuff in this issue.
And I am very pleased to announce that this day marks the first time since the mid-90's that I am ON SCHEDULE! That's right, I am completely on schedule with our calendar, all outside work has been done, no other deadlines before me now except the next issue of Strangers In Paradise. Nothing to distract me or rush me. I have worked for years to get caught up and back to this place. Not traveling and a lot of all-nighters has allowed me to do this. Once I catch up on my sleep, I'm going to really enjoy myself working on the rest of the issues this year!
Okay, I'm going to bed now. (I need a sleepy icon)

Keen. I'm happy that he's back on track. Terry in good form is a wonderful thing to behold.

I've really enjoyed the last few issues of SIP as well. It's gotten back to something that was lacking for a bit. Not sure what it was, but it seems to have more life now.

I'm not sure that it lacked anything other than specific focus...all the characters were in so many different places and directions, it was getting jumbled...it's always good to be back on track though...and the last couple of issues have been superior...

For me, "off track" meant basically all of the mob stuff. I just didn't enjoy that at all.
Very happy with the latest issues.

Yeah the David story was disappointing not really a proper origin of Yousaka at all, it started promisingly but then fell flat. I just picked up issue 64 and enjoyed it and I LOVE that picture of Francine.

A revealing self portrait of K.?
Something like "The origin of the world" by Courbet?
You can have an idea here: http://www.fucine.com/editoriali/12.htm?id=12
